The purpose of this site is to share with you some things I do and in doing so, I hope you can be inspired to do things that can inspire others. A favorite verse is John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”. I am not a “thrill-seeker” or a glutton for the “good life” nor a preacher out in the world speaking God’s word, but a person blessed with an opportunity to simply, “live life to the full”. In the end, I hope my living draws me closer to God and draws others to God as well.
About the site title: once while purchasing a sandwich, the young lady had a tatoo on her hand that read, “Mise En Place”. I asked and she explained to me that it meant “everything in its place”. Typically, it’s a french phrase used in the kitchen to ensure everything is in place prior to cooking. To the young lady, it meant that things in life is in place and even the bad will come around and right itself. I took it a step further and rephrased it, “La Vie En Place”-not “everything” but “life” in its place.
About the banner image: it was taken from my first hike to “Clouds Rest” in Yosemite National Park. I’ve been to many national parks but Yosemite is still my favorite.
